For CF systems, the finishing configuration isdefined at the CF (STAMPA) Controller. CF imposition files areused to impose documents for printing in conjunction with specificCF finishing configurations.Subset finishingSubset finishing is the capability to use different types of finishing(or no finishing) within the same job. The ability to finish subsetsindependently is a critical feature for many variable dataapplicationsThis product allows more than one type of finishing within a singlePostScript job. The supported finishing options and the outputlocations that can be used vary depending upon the printer type.The finishing options and delivery locations are the following:• Portrait Stitch• Landscape Stitch• Dual Stitch• Right Portrait Stitch• Right Landscape Stitch• Right Dual Stitch• Bind• Right BindNOTE: The DT 61xx printers allow Short Edge Feed (SEF) only inpaper tray 3, 4, and 5. The short edges of the stocks range fromapproximately 10 inches to 14 inches (254mm to 300mm).Creating jobs to use subset finishingIt is important that jobs intended to be printed using subsetfinishing be enabled with the following:• PostScript code (using the “setpagedevice” operator)• Variable Data Intelligent PostScript PrintWare (VIPP) version2.0 or later.
