The # symbol appears again.If there are problems starting the software, check the consolewindow for messages.Loading XJDC/UnixThe Xerox Job Description Compiler is loaded by entering thefollowing on the command line:/opt/XRXnps/bin/XJDC [-option[,option...]] ..The filename is the name of the JSL file that is to be compiled.The JSL filename is required to terminate with the suffix.jsl or.JSL. The filename may contain path information.Many options may be specified and shown in the above example.The options may be specified in any order and are 3-characterabbreviations. A list of the available options and theirabbreviations are as follows:• REPlace / NOReplace: Replace or backup existing PDL objectfiles.• DISplay / NODisplay: Display or suppress XJDC messages.• PRInt / NOPrint Generate: JSL compilation listing always oronly when errors/warnings occur.• TRUncate / NOTruncate: Truncate or accept JSL source linesafter 72 characters.• LABel / NOLabel: Generate or suppress 128-byte Xeroxstandard label.• COMpile / SCAn: Compile with output or scan only.• SINglebyte / DOUblebyte: Use singlebyte or doublebyte codeand printer carriage control translation files.• Vx: LPS PDL version number, x = 10, 2, 35, 3615, 37, 38, 39,40, 50, 3A, M10.• PAPersizes: Paper size to use for PDL VM10, s = USLEGAL /USLETTER / A4.• DATed = d: Date format, d = US / EUROPEAN.• PAGinate = p: Lines per page, n = 0, 5 to 999 (0 means nopagination).• OUTpath=p: Base directory for output files, p = ,default is current directory (Note that ~ is not supported.).
