This option is not available on Nuvera C/P.NOTE: Only System Administrators can set Tray Confirmationoptions.NOTE: Tray confirmation is not available on iGen3 with XeroxFreeFlow Print Server.Tray mappingThe Xerox FreeFlow Print Server allows the operator to select andsave tray mappings for recurring jobs or for jobs needing the samemapping.From the Printer GUI, the operator selects [Save Mapping]. Thedialog box [Save Settings] enables the user to either select anexisting mapping or create a new mapping by assigning a nameand entering a description in the Comments input area. Theoperator can also delete mappings.To apply the saved mapping to another print run, the operatoraccesses the Save Settings dialog box, selects the desired savedsetting and selects [OK]. This action reprograms all the trays tothe values previously stored.Mapping trays to mediaOn the Xerox FreeFlow Print Server printer, the media sources areset up for each queue on the printer interface. The user can maptrays to media in the XPIF job ticket and then use the mappingwith the embedded PCL paper source commands in the datastream.Once the print job has been sent, the user cannot change mediasources. However, the XPIF job ticket media source to traymapping can be overridden for all the trays on the queue.There are two ways in which an operator can specify the PCL trayto media mapping:1. XPIF job ticket. This ticket must be pre-appended to the job.2. IPP Attributes. The information in the XPIF ticket and IPPattributes become part of the job attributes sent to the system.
