Use this key to set both VFO-A and VFO-B to thesame frequency and mode.[AB] SwitchPressing this button momentarily, exchanges thefrequency or memory channel data, of VFO-A andVFO-B.[V/M] SwitchThis button toggles frequency control between VFO-A and the memory system. In memory mode, “MCH”(Memory Channel) will be shown in the Display toindicate the current selection. Pressing the [V/M]button displays the original memory frequency, andthe “MCH” icon will be displayed. Pressing it oncemore returns frequency operation to VFO-A, and theicon will no longer be displayed.[MA] SwitchPressing this button momentarily, will display thecontents of the currently-selected memory channelfor 10 seconds.Holding [MA] button in for one second copies thedata from the selected memory to VFO-A, and twobeeps sound. Previous data in VFO-A will be over-written.[AM] SwitchPressing this button momentarily, displays the con-tents of the currently-selected memory channel for10 seconds.Pressing and holding in this key for one second (untilthe double beep) copies the current operating datainto the currently selected memory channel, over-writing any previous data stored there.[LOCK] SwitchThis button toggles locking on/off for the Main Tun-ing Dial knob (VFO-A). With “Lock” on, the MainTuning Dial knob can still be turned, but the fre-quency will not change, and the “LOCK” appears inthe frequency display.
