Close any fuel valves in the fuel supply line.2. Clean the area to keep contaminants fromentering the fuel system.3. Place a drain pan under the fuel injection pumpto catch any spillage.4. Loosen the fuel line nuts at the fuel injectionpump.5. Next, loosen the fuel line nuts at the fuelinjectors. Use one wrench to hold the fuel returnline nut and fuel return line from rotating. Use asecond wrench to loosen the fuel line nut(Figure 7-4). Repeat with the remaining fuelinjectors.Figure 7-40002237
