Severe burns couldresult. ALWAYS wear safetygoggles and protective clothingwhen servicing the battery. Ifbattery fluid contacts the eyesand / or skin, immediately flushthe affected area with a largeamount of clean water and obtainprompt medical treatment.• Failure to comply could result in death orserious injury.WARNINGHIGH-PRESSURE HAZARD!• Avoid skin contact with thehigh-pressure diesel fuel spraycaused by a fuel system leak suchas a broken fuel injection line.High-pressure fuel can penetrateyour skin and result in seriousinjury. If you are exposed to high-pressure fuel spray, obtainprompt medical treatment.• NEVER check for a fuel leak with your hands.ALWAYS use a piece of wood or cardboard.Have your authorized Yanmar industrialengine dealer or distributor repair thedamage.• Failure to comply could result in death orserious injury.WARNINGSHOCK HAZARD!• Turn off the battery switch (ifequipped) or disconnect thenegative battery cable beforeservicing the electrical system.• Check the electrical harnesses for cracks,abrasions, and damaged or corrodedconnectors. ALWAYS keep the connectorsand terminals clean.• Failure to comply could result in death orserious injury.WARNINGENTANGLEMENT HAZARD!• Stop the engine before you beginto service it.• NEVER leave the key in the key switch whenyou are servicing the engine. Someone mayaccidentally start the engine and not realizeyou are servicing it. This could result in aserious injury.• If you must service the engine while it isoperating, remove all jewelry, tie back longhair, and keep your hands, other body partsand clothing away from moving / rotatingparts.• Failure to comply could result in death orserious injury.WARNINGTo prevent possible eye injury,always wear SAFETY GLASSESwhile servicing the engine.
