All internal combustionengines create carbon monoxide gas duringoperation. Accumulation of this gas within anenclosure could cause illness or even death.• Make sure that all connections are tightenedto specifications after repair is made to theexhaust system.• Failure to comply could result in death orserious injury.WARNINGALCOHOL AND DRUG HAZARD!• NEVER operate the engine whileyou are under the influence ofalcohol or drugs.• NEVER operate the engine when you arefeeling ill.• Failure to comply could result in death orserious injury.WARNINGEXPOSURE HAZARD!• Wear personal protectiveequipment such as gloves, workshoes, eye and hearing protectionas required by the task at hand.• NEVER wear jewelry, unbuttoned cuffs, ties orloose-fitting clothing when you are workingnear moving / rotating parts such as thecooling fan, flywheel or PTO shaft.• ALWAYS tie back long hair when you areworking near moving / rotating parts such asa cooling fan, flywheel, or PTO shaft.• NEVER operate the engine while wearing aheadset to listen to music or radio because itwill be difficult to hear the alert signals.• Failure to comply could result in death orserious injury.WARNINGBURN HAZARD!• If you must drain the engine oilwhile it is still hot, stay clear ofthe hot engine oil to avoid beingburned.• ALWAYS wear eye protection.• Wait until the engine cools before you drainthe engine coolant. Hot engine coolant maysplash and burn you.• Keep your hands and other body parts awayfrom hot engine surfaces such as the muffler,exhaust pipe, turbocharger (if equipped) andengine block during operation and shortlyafter you shut the engine down. Thesesurfaces are extremely hot while the engine isoperating and could seriously burn you.• Failure to comply could result in death orserious injury.
