If your vehicle has a luggage carrier, you can loadthings on top of your vehicle. The luggage carrierhas side rails attached to the roof. You can getsliding crossrails through your dealer to use fortying things down. These let you load some thingson top of your vehicle, as long as they are not wideror longer than the luggage carrier.Notice: Loading cargo on the luggage carrierthat weighs more than 100 lbs (45 kg) orhangs over the rear or sides of the vehiclemay damage your vehicle. Load cargo so thatit rests on the slats as far forward aspossible and against the side rails, makingsure to fasten it securely.Cargo CoverIf your vehicle has a cargo cover, you can use itto cover items in the rear of the vehicle. Pullthe cover from the passenger’s side to the driver’sside and slide the ends into the slots to secureit. When it is not in use, take the ends out of theslots and allow the cover to roll back up.Cargo Management SystemYour vehicle may have a cargo managementsystem.
