229 . . .–Section 1Anti-Pinch FeatureIf a head, hand or another object isin the way of the window as it isexpress-closing, the window willstop and open to a preset position.The window will function normallyonce the obstruction is removed.The anti-pinch feature may also beactivated by certain weatherconditions such as severe icing.To override the anti-pinch feature,lift and hold the power windowswitch in the express closeposition. The window will rise foras long as the switch is held. In thismode, the window will close on anobject in its path. Use care whenoverriding the anti-pinch feature.CAUTIONLifting and holding the powerwindow control will overridethe anti-pinch feature. If thishappens, a power window willnot stop if something gets inthe way. You or others could beinjured, and your window couldbe damaged.
