Starting and Operating Instructions. . . 340Your vehicle’s ignition is operatedusing either a standard, removablekey or using an integrated, non-removable key .The integrated, non-removablekey, called the ignition controlknob, is installed in vehiclesequipped with the Keyless AccessSystem.If your vehicle is equipped with anignition control knob, the keylessaccess transmitter must be in thevehicle for the ignition to work.Note:Only a keyless accesstransmitter that has beensuccessfully matched to thevehicle will start the engine.You can turn the ignition to oneof the following four positions:1.
