System Operation with AdultPassengersWhen the system senses that aperson of adult size is sitting in thefront passenger seat, the frontpassenger's frontal air bag will bereactivated and the "on" indicatorwill appear in the passenger airbag on/off indicator.If a person of adult size is sitting inthe front passenger seat and thepassenger air bags remaindeactivated, it may be because theperson is not sitting properly in theseat.To maintain the correct seatingposition, especially during vehiclemaneuvers and braking, thepassenger should wear the safetybelt.
