During BSR election, the priorities of the candidate BSRs arecompared and the interface with the highest BSR priority becomes theBSR.Hash mask length The number of significant bits in the IP multicast group comparisonmask. This mask determines the IP multicast group numbers for whichthe BigIron RX can be a BSR.
