The selected position changes to white and a progressmeter appears until the position is achieved. The boat speed must bebetween 7.0 and 13.6 mph, with no active alarms to engage.The selected position will be in READY MODE when the boatspeed is out of range or an alarm is active. Both SURF GATESretract in the CENTER position. Normal SURF GATE system opera-tion will resume after alarm condition are resolved and notificationsacknowledged. Refer to the following list of alarms.To alert the driver and rider of SURF GATE position switch, theTOWER LIGHTS will flash and audible beeps will sound. Thesealerts can be disabled in the SURF GATE section of the SETTINGSmenu explained later in this section of the owner’s manual.Surf Gate AlarmsUnder certain operating conditions, SURF GATE alarm noticesappear.MAX CURRENT DRAW EXTENDING LEFT = Error with Left surfactuator.MAX CURRENT DRAW RETRACTING LEFT = Error with Left surfactuator.MAX CURRENT DRAW EXTENDING RIGHT = Error with Rightsurf actuator.MAX CURRENT DRAW RETRACTING RIGHT = Error with Rightsurf actuator.HIGH SPEED SURF GATE = Speed Exceeds 13.6 mph.SURF GATE LEFT SWITCH = Gates limit switch is open afterretraction.The gate will extend back out then retract again. If the switch isstill out a new alarm will appear “SURF GATE LEFT SWITCH SEEDEALER”. The SURF GATES will be locked until the battery is reset.SURF GATE RIGHT SWITCH = Gates limit switch is open afterretraction.The gate will extend back out then retract again. The SURF GATES will be locked until the battery is reset.Power Wedge ControlTune the ideal wake for surfing and wakeboarding with the POWERWEDGE.The Power Wedge is notintended for use at speedsgreater than 26 mph. Analarm will sound and a no-tice will be displayed if the Power Wedge is in adeployed position at speeds exceeding 26 mph. Boatspeed must be below 26 mph to dismiss the alarm.Ensure all passengers are in the boat before changing thePower Wedge position. Stay clear of the Power Wedgewhile it is in motion. Extremities and clothing mightbecome pinched or caught and cause serious injury!Power Wedge OperationThe POWER WEDGE position adjustment is permitted ONLYwhen boat speed and POWER WEDGE position are within safeoperational range. The POWER WEDGE is NOT intended for use atspeeds greater than 26 mph. The POWER WEDGE will return to theSTOWED position only at speeds of 1 to 10 mph.Before riding, deploy the POWER WEDGE to a downward positionby touching any one of the eight (8) position buttons on the POWERWEDGE Control. If the wedge is in the STOW position (all the wayup) you can press any of the remaining buttons to deploy the wedge.The remaining keys range from VERT, which is the most aggres-sive wedge setting, to LIFT. The selected button will turn white.The size and shape of the wake can be adjusted when the boathas reached a speed of 10 to 26 mph. Select a new position on thePOWER WEDGE control or make fine adjustments using the buttonson the bottom of the optional joystick.Wedge LocatorThe wedge locater widget will follow the POWER WEDGE duringmotion. The white will indicate the current selected wedge location,but may not reflect its actual physical position.Auto WedgeAUTO-WEDGE is the automatic active control of the POWERWEDGE.
