GPS InformationSatellite SignalsThe unit depends on satellite signals to enable the GPS. Aminimum of four satellites is required to get a fix or clear signal.Satellite scenarios are described as follow:Differential Satellite Fix: A Differential fix meansthat not only does the GPS have enough satelliteinformation to calculate a position, but it alsohas information from ground-based referencestations. This is the most accurate type of fix.Accuracy can be as good as 10 centimeters.Non-differential Fix: A Non-differential fix meansthe GPS has enough satellite information tocalculate a position but not enough informationfrom the ground-based reference stations. Averageaccuracy with this type of fix is usually 15 meters. No Fix: A No Fix means the GPS cannot detectany satellites and therefore doesn’t have enoughinformation to calculate a position.Zero Off GPS Speed Control ®Three Event InformationThe unit is named for the three events that can be monitored:Slalom, Jump, andTrick.Touch theright arrow andthe screen will shiftto show the followingChange Event options:SlalomWhen Slalom is chosen, the screen shifts again and the followingappears:When in Training mode, the Set Speed may be set to any value. When in Tournament mode, the Set Speeds are pre-defined andlimited to the following values:15.5 17.4 19.3 21.1 23.0 24.926.7 28.6 30.4 32.3 34.2 36.0When in Tournamentmode, the buoy times will bedisplayed while running acourse:Slalom SettingsSelect Slalom, then touchthe symbol in the upper leftcorner of the screen. Thefollowing willappear:Buzzer VolumeThe buzzer volumeadjustment compensates forincreased engine noise. Asthe boat speed increases, and therefore the noisesfrom the engine increase, the volume of the buzzerwill increase proportionately to the boat’s speed between 0 and 25mph (40.2 km/h). No further increase occurs at speeds above 25mph (40.2 km/h). The buzzer emits a sound when the set speed isreached and when reaching the buoys at a course. Select BuzzerVolume, and the following appears:Select the volume for High and Low speed by utilizing the up anddown arrows.
