Upgrade the ITG 8-port trunk card ITG basic trunk software to ITG/ISL trunk software 4792 Login to the ITG shell. At the ITG> prompt, enter setLeadersetLeader "xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx", "yyy.yyy.yyy.yyy","zzz.zzz.zzz.zzz"where• "xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" is the ELAN network interface IP address ofLeader 0,• "yyy.yyy.yyy.yyy" is the ELAN network interface gateway (router)IP address. If the TM 3.1 PC is connected locally to the LAN, andthere is no ELAN network interface gateway, then the gatewayIP address is "0.0.0.0".• "zzz.zzz.zzz.zzz" is the subnet mask for the ELAN networkinterface IP address of Leader 0.All ITG shell commands are case-sensitive. A space separates thecommand from the first parameter. The three parameters must eachbe enclosed in quotation marks, and there must be a comma andno spaces separating the three parameters. The Management Gateway (router) IP address is used on rebootto create the IP route table default network route only if (1) there isno active leader that has this card’s ELAN network interface MACaddress in its node properties file, and (2) this card’s node propertiesfile is empty (size 0 Kb).IP addresses and subnet masks must be entered in dotted decimalformat. If the network administrator has provided the subnet mask in CIDRformat, convert it to dotted decimal format before entering it. Forexample: 10.1.1.1/20 must be converted to IP address 10.1.1.1 withsubnet mask 255.255.240.0. To convert subnet mask from CIDRformat to dotted decimal format refer to Appendix "Subnet maskconversion from CIDR to dotted decimal format" (page 457).3 Press Enter.4 The ITG shell displays value = 0 = 0 x 0 to indicate successfulcompletion of the setLeader command.
