6-5Turning Dial Confirmation ON/OFFDial Confirmation enables the prevention of problems associatedwith mistakenly pressing the wrong one-touch, program or group dialkey. When Dial Confirmation is turned ON, you will be able to checkthe destination before dialling occurs, thereby preventing yourdocuments from being sent to the wrong party.l If Dial Confirmation is turned ON…Pressing a one-touch, program or group dial key will not initiatedialling. Rather, information such as the destination fax number orthe program registered under that key will be shown in the messagedisplay to allow dialling only after you have checked the displayedinformation. (Refer to .)l If Dial Confirmation is turned OFF…Dialling will start immediately upon pressing the one-touch, programor group dial key.* If you want to cancel the procedure part way through, press theReset key. The operation panel will return to the initial mode settings.1. Press the CONFIGURE key.2. Use the cursor up or the cursor down key to select “Confirm dial”.3. Press the Enter key.4.
