STARTING AND OPERATING 241Air Suspension ModesThe Air Suspension system has multiple modesto protect the system in unique situations:AERO ModeTo improve aerodynamics, the air suspensionsystem has a feature which will put the vehicleinto AERO height automatically. Refer to“Instrument Cluster Display” in “Getting ToKnow Your Instrument Panel” for furtherinformation.NOTE:This mode is intended to be enabled withengine running.Tire Jack ModeTo assist with changing a tire, the airsuspension system has a feature which allowsthe automatic leveling to be disabled. Refer to“Instrument Cluster Display” in “Getting ToKnow Your Instrument Panel” or “UconnectSettings” in “Multimedia” if equipped with atouch screen radio for further information.NOTE:This mode is intended to be enabled withengine running.Transport ModeFor towing your vehicle with four wheels off theroad, the air suspension system has a featurewhich will put the vehicle into Entry/Exit heightand disable the automatic load leveling system.Refer to “Instrument Cluster Display” in“Getting To Know Your Instrument Panel” or“Uconnect Settings” in “Multimedia” ifequipped with a touch screen radio for furtherinformation.NOTE:This mode is intended to be enabled withengine running.Wheel Alignment ModeBefore performing a wheel alignment, thismode must be enabled. Refer to “InstrumentCluster Display” in “Getting To Know YourInstrument Panel” or “Uconnect Settings” in“Multimedia” if equipped with a touch screenradio for further information.NOTE:This mode is intended to be enabled withengine running.Protection StrategyIn order to “protect” the air suspension system,the vehicle will disable load leveling as required(suspension overloaded, battery charge low,etc.). Load leveling will automatically resume assoon as system operation requirements aremet. See your authorized dealer if system doesnot resume.NOTE:If towing with air suspension refer to “TrailerTowing” in “Starting And Operating” for furtherinformation.Instrument Cluster Display MessagesWhen the appropriate conditions exist, amessage will appear in the instrument clusterdisplay. Refer to “Instrument Cluster Display” in“Getting To Know Your Instrument Panel” forfurther information.An audible chime will be heard whenever asystem error has been detected.See an authorized dealer for system service ifnormal operation does not resume.5
