The locking of the rear differential shouldonly be engaged during low-speed, extremeoff-road situations where one wheel is likely tonot be in contact with the ground. It is notrecommended to drive the vehicle with thedifferentials locked on pavement due to thereduced ability to turn and speed limitations.Axle Lock ButtonThe locking rear axle is controlled by the AXLELOCKER button.Under normal driving conditions, the rear axleshould be unlocked.During the command to lock the rear axle, theindicator light will flash until the axle is locked. After the lock command has been successfullyexecuted, the light will remain on solid.Operating in 4WD LOW the locker can beengaged up to 40 mph (64 km/h) and willremain engaged throughout the 4WD LOWspeed range.Operating the locker in 2WD, 4WD AUTO, and4WD LOCK/HIGH the locker can be engaged upto 20 mph (32 km/h).
