MMC Programming2-342 Samsung Business Communications233B[831] MGI PARAMETERSThis MMC provides a mean to configure the Internet Protocol(IP) addressing of the MGIcard(s) in the system.No Parameter Description0 IP ADDRESS Specifies the IP address for the MGI card.1 GATEWAY Specifies the designated IP gateway address used for contactingIP devices beyond the local subnet.2 SUB MASK Specifies the IP subnet mask. This parameter is used by the system tocalculate the range of IP devices(subnet) that are within ‘direct reach’of the MGI.(without having to go through the designated network IPgateway)3 IP TYPE Specifies if the system will be routing data over a public or privatenetwork.4 PUBLIC IP The MGI will originate communications, to IP phones and VoIPconnections outside the local network, using this IP address. If thisIP address sets 0.0.0.0, 255.255.255.255 or default value then thisMGI card uses private IP only. (not supportted MGI16/ 64)The OfficeServ 7100 systemsIf MPMGI port (the embeded mgi) is selected, IP ADDRESS, GATEWAY, SUBMASK, CARD RESET parameters can not be set in this MMC because these pa-rameters and the system values are the same. The system values can be referedin MMC830MGI PARAMETERS- IP ADDRESS, GATEWAY, and SUB MASK—any changes to these parameterswill not be applied until the MGI card is reset.- When changing any IP address/value, three digits must be entered for each(octet) field. For example, 192.168.1.10 should be entered as 192 168 001 010.
