No certificate is imported on the machine inthe default settings. Import certificates for a S/MIME as needed.Before configuring a certificate, configure the settings to encrypt HTTPCommunication.z Configuration on a ComputerPrepare a certificate that is suitable for E-mail Encryption/Digital Signature.Configuration on the MachineTo configure certificates by CentreWare Internet Services, first encrypt HTTPcommunication, import a created certificate to the machine, and then enable S/MIME.For information on the settings for encrypting HTTP communication, refer to "Configuration of HTTPCommunication Encryption" (P.131)For information on how to use CentreWare Internet Services, refer to "Using CentreWare InternetServices" (P.55).1 Start a web browser.2 Enter the machine's IP address or the Internet address beginning with "https" to theaddress entry column on the browser, and press the key.z Example of the IP address entryhttps://192.168.1.1/z Example of the Internet address entryhttps://xxx.yyyy.zz.vvv/Note • When specifying a port number, add ":" and a port number to the end of the Internetaddress.3 Click the [Properties] tab.4 Confirm that [Machine E-mail Address] of [Machine Details] is filled.5 Click [+] on the left of [Security] to display the items in the folder.6 Click [Certificate Management].7 Import a certificate.Important • When importing a certificate, if the same certificate has been already registered in [LocalDevice] or [Others], the certificate cannot be imported. Delete the registered certificatebefore importing.1) Enter the [Password].2) Enter the [Re-enter Password]3) Enter a file name you want to import. Or select a file to be imported from a dialogbox displayed by clicking the [Browse] button and then click [Save].
