See Figure 12 in Appendix A for the location of the jack.2 Press the Headset button. By default, this is the Access button just belowthe (Program) button at the top right corner of the telephone.3 Verify that the indicator light beside the Headset button turns on.To answer a call when you are using the headset:1 Put the headset on. When a call comes in, press the System Appearancebutton beside the flashing light. You are connected to the call.The handset can be either on hook or off hook.To end a call when you are using the headset, press the Release buttonon the telephone. By default, the Release button is located at thebottom of the right column of Access buttons.To configure a 3102 Business Telephone to ring through the headset andnot on the telephone, set the ringer tone to Silent Ring.
