Using the SIS systemGeneralThis is a brief description of how to use the Service Information System, SIS for M2000 robotsystems. Determine which of the system functions yourequire.These are described in Description,Service Information System, SISDescrip-tion of Service Information System (SIS)on page 190.2. Define what values are adequate andsuitable for your application in yourproduction environment.Recommendations on how to definethese are given in Defining the SIS inputparametersSIS system parameters onpage 192.Maintenance intervals recommended byABB are specified in section MaintenanceScheduleMaintenance schedule on page111.3. Enter these parameters in the system. How to do this is detailed in Setting theSIS parametersSetting the SISparameters on page 194.4. Run the robot in normal operation.5. Reset the counter if a repair is made, or if acounter for any other reason is restarted.The TPU displays for resetting any SISvalue are shown in Description, ServiceInformation System, SISDescription ofService Information System (SIS) onpage 190.6.
