15.6.4 Operation principle M15305-3 v5The Signal matrix for binary inputs (SMBI) function , see figure 283, receives itsinputs from the real (hardware) binary inputs via the Signal Matrix Tool (SMT) orACT, and makes them available to the rest of the configuration via its outputs, BI1to BI10. The inputs and outputs, as well as the whole block, can be given a userdefined name. These names will be represented in SMT as information whichsignals shall be connected between physical IO and SMBI function. The input/output user defined name will also appear on the respective output/input signal.15.7 Signal matrix for binary outputs SMBO SEMOD55215-1 v215.7.1 Functionality M15311-3 v5The Signal matrix for binary outputs (SMBO) function is used within theApplication Configuration Tool (ACT) in direct relation with the Signal MatrixTool (SMT), see the application manual to get information about how binary inputsare sent from one IED configuration.15.7.2 Function block SEMOD54860-4 v3IEC05000439-2-en.vsdSMBOBO1BO2BO3BO4BO5BO6BO7BO8BO9BO10^BO1^BO2^BO3^BO4^BO5^BO6^BO7^BO8^BO9^BO10IEC05000439 V2 EN-USFigure 284: SMBO function block15.7.3 Signals SEMOD55887-1 v2PID-3831-INPUTSIGNALS v5Table 511:SMBO Input signalsName Type Default DescriptionBO1 BOOLEAN 0 Signal name for BO1 in Signal Matrix ToolBO2 BOOLEAN 0 Signal name for BO2 in Signal Matrix ToolBO3 BOOLEAN 0 Signal name for BO3 in Signal Matrix ToolBO4 BOOLEAN 0 Signal name for BO4 in Signal Matrix ToolBO5 BOOLEAN 0 Signal name for BO5 in Signal Matrix ToolTable continues on next page1MRK 511 424-UEN B Section 15Basic IED functionsBay control REC650 2.2 IEC 635Technical manual
