5.5.3 Function keys5.5.3.1 Functionality GUID-BED38E9A-C90D-4B7F-AA20-42821C4F6A1C v3Local Human-Machine-Interface (LHMI) has five function buttons, directly to theleft of the LCD, that can be configured either as menu shortcut or control buttons. Each button has an indication LED that can be configured in the applicationconfiguration. When used as a menu shortcut, a function button provides a fast way to navigatebetween default nodes in the menu tree. When used as a control, the button cancontrol a binary signal.5.5.3.2 Operation principle GUID-977C3829-B19B-457E-8A4D-45317226EF22 v3Each output on the FNKEYMD1 - FNKEYMD5 function blocks can be controlledfrom the LHMI function keys. By pressing a function button on the LHMI, theoutput status of the actual function block will change. These binary outputs can inturn be used to control other function blocks, for example, switch control blocks, binary I/O outputs etc.FNKEYMD1 - FNKEYMD5 function block also has a number of settings andparameters that control the behavior of the function block. These settings andparameters are normally set using the PST.Operating sequence GUID-84CA7C61-4F83-4F86-A07F-BF9EC4E309BF v5The operation mode is set individually for each output, either OFF, TOGGLE orPULSED.Setting OFFThis mode always sets the outputs to a low value (0).Input valueOutput valueIEC09000330-2-en.vsdIEC09000330 V2 EN-USFigure 30: Sequence diagram for setting OFFSetting TOGGLEIn this mode the output toggles each time the function key has been pressed formore than 500ms. Note that the input attribute is reset each time the function blockexecutes. The function block execution is marked with a dotted line below.1MRK 511 424-UEN B Section 5Local Human-Machine-Interface LHMIBay control REC650 2.2 IEC 81Technical manual
