8-12 Receiving Faxes Chapter 8Receiving in ColourYour unit has been factory-set to receive faxes in colour from fax machines with colourcapability. When receiving a fax, your unit detects if the incoming fax is a colour orblack & white transaction, and prints the fax accordingly.For automatic printing of received colour faxes, you need to have the correct BJcartridge installed in your unit. If not, the unit will receive the colour fax in memory andthe LCD will alternate REC’D IN MEMORY and INSTALL BC-21e.Replace the installed BJ cartridge with the Colour BJ cartridge (1 p. 12-12). The unitthen prints automatically the colour fax stored in memory.Setting Colour ReceptionYour unit is factory-set to receive colour faxes from fax machines that have colourcapability.Follow this procedure to disable or enable colour reception:1 Press Function.2 Press Data Registration.3 Press Set.4 Use d or u to select RX SETTINGS.5 Press Set.6 Use d or u to select COLOUR RX.
