Multifeeder Pickup Roller1) Open the manual feed tray, and remove the left cover.2) Open the front cover, and release the developing assembly lever; then, detach the drumunit.3) Remove the multifeeder tray and the pickup guide (2 screws); then, detach themultifeeder pickup roller.4) Clean the roller with lint-free paper. If the dirt is excessive, use alcohol.6. Multifeeder Separation Pad1) Open the multifeeder tray, and detach the left cover.2) Open the front cover, and release the developing assembly lever; then, detach the drumunit.3) Remove the multifeeder tray and the pickup guide (2 screws); then, clean themultifeeder serration pad with lint-free paper.7. Registration Roller1) Open the multifeeder tray, and detach the left cover.2) Open the front cover, and release the developing assembly lever; then, detach the drumunit.3) Remove the multifeeder tray and the pickup guide (2 screw); then, clean the roller withlint-free paper while turning it by hand. If the dirt is excessive, use alcohol.8. Transfer Charging Roller1) Open the multifeeder tray, and detach the left cover. While taking care not to touch theroller, turn the roller by hand while lightly wiping it with lint-free paper (not leaving pa-per lint).Do not touch the roller. Or, do not use water or solvent to clean the roller.9. Static Eliminator1) Open the multifeeder tray, and detach the left cover. Clean the static eliminator of thetransfer charging roller and the static eliminator of the pickup guide assembly with ablower brush or lint-free paper.
