This means that thePKE motor-protective circuit-breaker needs to handle acyclic requests andresponses from and to the masters via the DS7-SWD soft starter.8.9.9.2 AddressingThe PKE motor-protective circuit-breaker provides three objects for acyclicread access. These objects are addressed with index 1, index 2, index 3; as aresult, they can be separated from index 47, which is used to address theDS7-SWD soft starter’s PROFIdrive objects.8.9.9.3 ProtocolThe DS7-SWD soft starter is used to map the protocol in such a way that it isalso possible to access the PKE motor-protective circuit-breaker acyclicallyvia SmartWire-DT.In order to perform a read operation, the coordinator sends a read request. As a response, the requested data or an error message (as the case may be)is sent directly by the PKE motor-protective circuit-breaker via the DS7-SWDsoft starter.Figure 136: Protocol between PROFIBUS-DP master and PKE motor-protective circuit-breaker viaDS7-SWD→ Further information on the subject of the “transfer of acyclicdata”, consult manual MN05013002Z-EN, “SmartWire-DTGateways.”ReadRequestReadResponsePROFIBUS-DPMasterPROFIBUS-DPGateway PKEDataRequestDataResponseor ErrorReadDataDP Read RequestDP Read Response(Data or Error)SWD Read RequestSWD Read Request(Data or Error)DP ErrorPROFIBUS-DP SWDDS7SWD Error
