13.6.1 Inspect, Clean and Disinfect the Device and TrolleyPerform a visual inspection to verify that the device meets the minimum conditions:• The case and display screen are free of cracks and other damage.• All plugs, cords, cables, and connectors are free of kinks, frays, and other damage.• All cords and connectors are securely seated.• All keys and controls operate properly.• The trolley exterior is free of cracks and other damage.• The accessory track is functioning properly.• All cords and connectors are securely seated.• The actuation lever is functioning properly.• The castor wheels are functioning properly.If you notice any items that need repair, contact an authorized service representative to make therepairs. Discontinue using the device until the repairs can be made.13.6.2 Clean the Device and TrolleyNOTEThe automated washer-disinfector is not applicable for MAC™ 2000 medical devices.1. Put on new gloves.2. Gather approved agent(s).3. Wipe all sides of the part, using as many fresh wipes as needed until clean.NOTEIf using a spray, spray onto a clean, lint-free cloth to use as a wipe.4. If there are any grooves, gaps, or buttons, wrap the wipe over a swab and/or plastic card.Place the edge or tip in any groove, gap, or button, and gently drag the wrapped wipe.NOTEUse fresh wipes each time.5. Ensure the device is visually clean.6. Allow the device to air dry.7.
