Turn the large right knob to highlight the“On”/”Off” field (left-hand side of the fielddirectly below “Arrival Alarm”).3. Turn the small right knob to select “On” or“Off”, as desired. Press ENT to accept theselection.4. The flashing cursor moves to the alarm dis-tance field (to the immediate right of “On” or“Off”). To enter an arrival alarm distance, usethe small and large right knobs to enterthe desired alarm distance. Press ENT whenfinished.Units / PositionTo set the magnetic variation:1. Select “Units / Position” from the SetupPage.2. The flashing cursor highlights the headingmode field. Turn the small right knob toselect the desired heading mode: Auto orTrue. Press ENT to accept the selection. (Theheading modes are described previously in theUnits/Position section.)To change the units of measure:1. Select “Units / Position” from the SetupPage.2. Turn the large right knob to highlight thedesired units of measure category. The fol-lowing categories, and corresponding units ofmeasure, are available:• DIS, SPD — distance and speed in Nautical(nautical miles/knots), Statute (miles/milesper hour) or Metric (kilometers/kilometers perhour) terms.• ALT, VS — altitude and vertical speed in Feet/feet per minute, Meters/meters per minute, orMeters/meters per second.• PRESSURE — barometric pressure in Inchesor Millibars.• TEMP — temperature in degrees Celsius orFahrenheit.• FUEL — fuel units in Gallons, Imperial Gal-lons, Kilograms, Liters or Pounds.3.
