These short-cuts speed the process of removing approaches, depar-tures and arrivals, and aid in selecting a specific flightplan leg for navigation guidance.On the preceding page, options to removeapproaches, departures and arrivals were introduced.This process may also be completed using the CLRkey, as described below and illustrated at right.To remove an approach, departure or arrival usingthe CLR key:To remove an approach, departureor arrival from the active flight plan,highlight the procedure name (appearsin light blue text) and press CLR.1. With the Active Flight Plan Page displayed,press the small right knob to activate thecursor.2. Turn the large right knob to highlight the titlefor the approach, departure or arrival you wishto delete. Titles appear in light blue directlyabove the procedure’s waypoints.3. Press CLR to display a confirmation window.4. With “Yes?” highlighted, press ENT to removethe selected procedure.This same process may also be used to removeindividual waypoints from the active flight plan.To remove an individual waypoint fromthe active flight plan, highlight thewaypoint you wish to remove and pressCLR.To remove a waypoint using the CLR key:1.
