Placing the Model 6C1 in the Service PositionAttention: Care should be taken to ensure that a hazardous condition is not createddue to uneven mechanical loading when placing the system in the service position. Ifthe rack has a stabilizer, it must be firmly attached before placing the system in theservice position.Before doing any actions inside the Model 6C1, you must put the system in the serviceposition. To place the system in the service position:1. Release the left and right side latches2. Pull the system toward the front until it is fully extended.When the system is fully extended, safety latches on the slide rails lock into place. Thisprevents the system from being accidentally pulled out too far and dropped.1After completing actions, return the system to the normal position by pressing in on thesafety latches (1).Chapter 9.
