To the right ofthis, the current automation settings (on or off, orglobal mode) are shown.To the right of this, the name and number of the cur-rent library entry selected with the direct libraryfunctions are shown, and immediately below that, inlarger letters, the title of the current screen.Finally, on the right, the current timecode value (withthe source as set up as preference) is displayed.Note the timecode displayed can be changed as asetup option. See “UPPER BAR DISPLAY” onpage 33.Jumping to commonly-used screensWithin a project, it’s likely that you’ll find yourselfusing some screens more than others. One of themain such screens is the module screen, allowing youto view and change a module’s parameters at aglance.For this reason, a dedicated MODULEkey, with indicator, is provided to theright of the number keys. The moduleparameters shown are those of themodule selected using the SEL keys.The three USER keys are used to setup three commonly-used shortcuts toscreens used frequently within aproject.Setting a USER screen With thescreen shown to which you want tomake a shortcut, press and hold theSHIFT and CTRL keys (to the left ofthe unit). While holding down thesekeys, press one of the USER keys.Release all the keys.
