To specify thedestination:1. Select Alerts, and then select Alert Destinations. The Alert Destinations pagedisplays (see Figure 62).Figure 62. Alert Destinations PageNOTE If you have not configured the ePDU SMTP, a note will appear on this page prompting you to do sonow. You cannot enter an email address until you have configured the SMTP server. Either click the SMTPserver here link that displays on this page, or select Devices Settings > SMTP Settings. See Configuring theSMTP Settings" on page 80 for details.2. Select the destination from the drop−down list in the Destination Type field. Yourchoices are Event Log, Switch Outlets, eMail and SNMP.3. Do one of the following: Event Log. This is one of the default options for Alert Destination. If youselected this option, event entries are recorded in the event log. Thisdestination is built in by default, and can be neither added nor deleted. Switch Outlets. This is one of the default options for Alert Destinations. If youselected this option, configured outlet is switched on, off, or cycled. Thisdestination is built in by default, and can be neither added or deleted. eMail. If you selected email, type the receiver’s email address. SNMP. If you selected SNMP, enter the IP address of the trap and thecommunity string.4. Click Add. The destination is added.5. To delete an alert destination, click the appropriate Delete button.
