If you have installed a USB keyboard, run the Setup utility and enablekeyboardless operation to prevent the POST error message 301 from beingdisplayed during startup.2. See for information about keyboard compatibility.3. Make sure that:v The keyboard cable is securely connected.v The server and the monitor are turned on.4. Reseat the following components:a. Keyboardb. I/O-board assembly (see “Removing the I/O-board shuttle” on page 143and “Replacing the I/O-board shuttle” on page 144)5. Replace the components listed in step “USB keyboard, mouse, orpointing-device problems” one at a time, in the order shown, restarting theserver each time.The USB mouse or USBpointing device does not work. 1. Make sure that:v The mouse or pointing-device USB cable is securely connected to the server,and the device drivers are installed correctly.v The server and the monitor are turned on.v Keyboardless operation is enabled in the Setup utility.3.
