13General Color TV Standard Settings (Settings for frame frequency)GeneralThe unit is delivered with the color TV standard not yet specified. To revise the settings for frame frequency according to thepreferred standard, refer to the procedures described below.1 After connecting the unit to the power supply and thenturning on the power, press the MENU SW button whilepressing the LIGHT SW button to open OPTIONMENU.2 Turn the JOG dial button to move the cursor (arrow) tothe AREA SELECT item on the AREA SETTINGscreen in OPTION MENU, and the press the JOG dialbutton.3 Select the area among NTSC, NTSC(J), and PAL. Afterselecting the area by turning the JOG dial button, pressthe JOG dial button.4 Move the cursor (arrow) to _ AREA SET by turningthe JOG dial button, and then press the JOG dial but-ton. The following window appears.5 Move the arrow ( ) to YES and press the JOG dial but-ton. The settings selected in Step 3 above are reflectedin FACTORY and CURRENT DATA on the screen.6 Turn off the power supply once and then turn on itagain.Notesz The settings are not saved unless SET is executed even ifNTSC, NTSC(J), or PAL is selected in the AREA SELECT.z When AREA SELECT is revised, the “_ AREA SET”blinks.z When these items are set when the unit is used for the firsttime, only the following 8 items are revised.
