38 Recording and Playback Interval Recording1 Following basic operations of shooting and recordingaccording to “Basic Procedures”, lock the camerasecurely.2 Check that “i” is blinking in the display, and that theinterval recording mode is selected.3 Press either REC START/STOP button, REC button onthe handle, or VTR button at the lens.Interval recording starts. Recording automatically stopsafter the specified TAKE TOTAL TIME, and the entirerecording is generated as one clip.“i” starts blinking in the display when the internalrecording mode is selected. “iREC” illuminates afterrecording starts. “iREC” blinks during a pause.The display in the viewfinder is the same as that in thedisplay window.The tally lamp illuminates during recording. If PAUSETIME is set at 2 minutes or longer, the tally lampilluminates at 5-second intervals to indicate that it ispaused. The tally lamp also blinks 3 seconds beforerecording starts.Press the STOP button. Recording stops. Then, the cameraaccesses the P2 card to record the video stored in memorybefore recording stops. The record from the beginning of theinterval recording to the moment of pressing the STOPbutton is generated as one clip.Press either the REC START/STOP button, REC button onthe handle, or VTR button at the lens, again. Intervalrecording resumes.z Setting the menu option INTERVAL REC MODE to “OFF”.When INTERVAL REC HOLD is set to “OFF”, the modereturns to ordinary recording mode if the POWER switch ofthe unit is turned OFF.If INTERVAL REC HOLD is set to “ON”, the intervalrecording mode will not change even if the POWER switchis turned OFF.After setting the ONE SHOT mode of INTERVAL REC, followthese steps:1 Following basic operations of shooting and recordingaccording to “Basic Procedures ”, lock the camerasecurely.2 Press either the REC START/STOP button, RECbutton on the handle, or VTR button at the lens.The AJ-HPX3000 automatically goes into ONE SHOTpause mode after the specified REC TIME.3 Performs recording for the duration specified underthe REC TIME option by pressing either the RECSTART/STOP button, REC button on the handle, orVTR button at the lens, and returns to ONE SHOTpause mode.4 Press the STOP button.The video and sound stored in memory are generatedas one clip.Press the RET button at the lens to put the AJ-HPX3000 intoREC REVIEW mode. ONE SHOT operation continues afterthe REC REVIEW.Even during ONE SHOT mode, clips will not be generatedon the P2 card until the STOP button is pressed.
