38 Recording and Playback Interval Recording1 Following basic operations of shooting and recordingaccording to “Basic Procedures”, lock the camerasecurely.2 Check that “i” is blinking in the display, and that theinterval recording mode is selected.3 Press either REC START/STOP button, REC button onthe handle, or VTR button at the lens.Interval recording starts. Recording automatically stopsafter the specified TAKE TOTAL TIME, and the entirerecording is generated as one clip.“i” starts blinking in the display when the internalrecording mode is selected. “iREC” illuminates afterrecording starts. “iREC” blinks during a pause.The display in the viewfinder is the same as that in thedisplay window.The tally lamp illuminates during recording. If PAUSETIME is set at 2 minutes or longer, the tally lampilluminates at 5-second intervals to indicate that it ispaused. The tally lamp also blinks 3 seconds beforerecording starts.Press the STOP button. Recording stops. Then, the cameraaccesses the P2 card to record the video stored in memorybefore recording stops. The record from the beginning of theinterval recording to the moment of pressing the STOPbutton is generated as one clip.Press either the REC START/STOP button, REC button onthe handle, or VTR button at the lens, again.
