Press the STOP Button to place the VTR into the stopmode.2. Set the MENU Switch to the SET position (Switch is locatedunder door on front panel).NOTE: When in the menu set position PLAY. REC. FASTFORWARD and REW will not function.3. You can change these settings either by watching thecounter indicator on the VTR or by watching the videomonitor. .4. To change the individual default settings use the PLAY orREC buttons to select the different menu pages, which willdisplay the different settings.5. To select the individual settings either use the FF button orthe inside search dial control. A flashing bar will highlightyour selection if you are viewing your video monitor. If youuse the counter indicator to make these changes, the firstfour digits select the item you would like to change and thelast two selects the default setting (on/off, etc.).The counter display codes are on page E-9.6. To change the default setting use either the STOP or REWbuttons.7. When thePAUSE/STILL Button is pressed again, the tapeplays back for one second and then recordingstarts.)OFF: Normal REC/PAUSE operationSTOP: The unit is placed in the stop mode after thetape has been loaded.REW: The tape is rewound to its beginning, and thenit stops.STOP:REW:The tape stops when it comes to the end.The tape is rewound to its beginning, and thenit stops.STOP: The tape stops when it comes to the end.EJECT: The tape is ejected when it comes to the end.Standbyo MIN:5 MIN:30 MIN:release timeWith full loading STOP, the tape cylinder stopsimmediately.The tape cylinder stops after REC/PAUSE con·tinued for 5 minutes or longer.The tape cylinder stops after REC/PAUSE con·tinued for 30 minutes or longer.
