5. Press the sub wiper arm (R) to directionindicated by arrow so that the sub wiper arm(R) comes to cassette down position (STOP)completely as shown in Figure M50-D andkeepit. I n this position, the arrow on the SubWiper Arm (R) should align with the arrow onthe Rack (A)(1) Unit as shown in Figure M50-E.Figure M50-D< RIGHT SIDE VIEW>.::::: ,;',' ...: . : ~ ~ : :: :.:.':'.' .... ::::.:SUB WIPER ARM R)Figure M50-E6. If the Cassette Compartment is not aligned, realignment may be accomplished by pushingthe Main Shaft Unit to the right (gently) andpushing the front of the Rack Unit to the left. This procedure will disengage the teeth of theRack Gear from the teeth on Sub Wiper Armassembly. This will allow you to change the positionalrelationship between the Sub Wiper ArmAssembly and Rack Unit. This procedure is bestattempted in the EJ ECT position. Once this isdone, check for smooth operation of thecompartment by inserting a cassette, andpushing in, and down.C. Installation Procedure1. Bring loading mechanism to the STOP (Sub-load) position.2. Confirm that the chassis is aligned properly forAlignment Condition as shown in Figure M39-Band M39-C.3. Put the Sub Wiper Arm (R) in its full downposition (Sub Wiper Arm should rest on plasticprotrusion on the bottom of the right sideplate).4. Install the cassette compartment (withoutcassette holder) to chassis so that therectangular marking (or slot) on the connectiongear should be line up with first tooth of theRack Gear as shown in Figure M50-F and M50-G.6 O'CLlCK POSITIONMARKING~~":!l-- FIRSTTOOTH'I------'I'-IL CONNECTIONGEARMARKING POSITION IS IN LINE WITHFIRST TOOTH OF RACK GEAR A (1)Figure M50-FoCD/RACK GEAR A (1)CVMARKING (SLOT)Figure M50-G5.
