Insert the projection on the engine groundlead holder into the hole in the frame from theinside of the frame.B. Fasten the engine ground lead and startermotor lead to the frame with plastic lockingties. Point the end of each plastic locking tierearward, and then cut off the excess end ofthe tie to 2 mm (0.08 in) or less.C. Fasten the starter motor lead and engineground lead with the holder. Align the whitetape on the starter motor lead with the holder.D. Blue paint markE. White paint markF. 0–10 mm (0–0.39 in)G. Make sure that there is no twist in the startermotor lead and sidestand switch lead.H. Fasten the starter motor lead, gear positionswitch lead, and sidestand switch coupler withthe plastic band. Face the buckle of theplastic band downward with the end pointinginward.I. Cover the engine ground terminal with theterminal cover.J. Route the coolant temperature sensor leadand gear position switch lead between thethrottle position sensor and the cylinder head.K. The gear position switch lead and coolanttemperature sensor lead may be positionedand routed in any order.L. Route the coolant temperature sensor lead tothe front of the gear position sensor lead.M. Insert the projection on the coupler into thehole in the bracket.N. Fit the starter motor lead between the bottomof the battery box and the rib on the batterybox.O. Insert the projection on the holder into thehole in the frame from the bottom of theframe. The catch of the holder may be facingin any direction.P. Do not pinch the sidestand switch leadbetween the engine ground lead and theframe.
