14 Index Contents Confidential FUNC (K)/Ver. 1.013 DISPLAYThe transceiver has the following displays and indicators:Busy LEDTransmit LEDLCDBacklight3.1 Busy LEDThe Busy LED lights green when the transceiver receivesthe following signals:• The transceiver receives a carrier.• The transceiver receives data in PC Mode, FirmwareProgramming Mode or Clone Mode.The Busy LED can be configured to light when thetransceiver is receiving a carrier by using KPG-101D.The Transmit LED and Busy LED can be configured tolight when the transceiver is communicates in EmergencyMode by using KPG-101D.Note: The Busy LED does not light in LTR Trunked radio systemeven if the transceiver receives a carrier. With this function, a user can view the LCD indark places or at night by using the backlight.Press the Lamp key to light the backlight LED.The backlight LED lights when a key or switch other thanthe PTT switch is pressed or the Selector is turned ifAuto Backlight is enabled.The backlight LED lights for approximately 5 seconds andautomatically turns Off if no key is pressed after thebacklight LED turns On.
