Configuration using KPG-101D• Configuring the Selective Call Alert LED (Refer toFPRG 6.10.2 Decode Tab - Selective Call AlertLED.)18.3.13 DTMF Number DisplayDTMF Number Display allows a user to view a receivedDTMF code if the transceiver receives a DTMF code withat least 3 numeric digits. The received code appears onthe display while the Channel Name or DTMF codeappears on the display.The display is updated when the transceiver does notreceive another code for more than 1 second after thetransceiver received the DTMF code. Only the first 8numeric digits can be displayed if the transceiver receivesa code with more than 8 numeric digits.DTMF Number Display functions only for a channel onwhich Off is configured for DTMF signaling and DTMF isconfigured for Optional Signaling. The display is notupdated in the following conditions:• When the transceiver receives the Stun Code or StunDeactivation Code.• When the transceiver is in Emergency Mode.The previous channel appears on the display if any key ispressed while the DTMF code appears on the display.The previous CH/GID appears on the display when theAuto Reset Timer expires if the display for the Auto ResetTimer is configured.DTMF Number Display can be configured to be enabledor disabled by using KPG-101D.Note: DTMF Number Display is only used for viewing the caller’s ID.A user cannot reply to the ID displayed on the display.
