20 FLEETSYNC82 Index Contents Confidential FUNC (K)/Ver. 1.0120.2 Selcall FunctionSelcall can be used to make a selective call using theFleetSync ID.A user can make a call with their own FleetSync ID andthe receiving party’s ID by pressing the PTT switch afterselecting the receiving party. The transceiver unmutesthe received audio if the receiving party receives theFleetSync ID.The caller’s ID appears on the receiving party’stransceiver. The receiving party can respond to the callerby pressing the PTT switch while the caller’s ID isdisplayed.The following Selcall types are available.Table 20-2 Selcall Type20.2.1 Making a SelcallList Selection or Manual Dialing can be used to make aSelcall.With List Selection, a user can make a Selcall byselecting a FleetSync ID configured for the ID List.(Refer to 20.2.3 ID List on page 85.)With Manual Dialing, a user can make a Selcall bydirectly selecting the FleetSync ID. The call type isdecided according to the number of the entered digits.Table 20-3 Call Type with Manual DialingPaging Call can be used to make a Selcall. This functionallows a user to call a specific party. This function can beused to make a call without using voice communication.Note: Auto Reply Message does not function if the transceiverreceives a Paging Call. Supervisor Call and Broadcast Call are available only when ListSelection is enabled. Transceiver Operationz Making a Selcall with List Selection1.
