9 TIME-OUT TIMER (TOT)32 Index Contents Confidential FUNC (K)/Ver. 1.019.2 Trunking System(TK-3173 only)The following timers relevant to Time-out Timer functionscan be configured in a Trunking System:• Time-out Timer (Dispatch)• Time-out Timer (Telephone)9.2.1 Time-out Timer (Dispatch)The Time-out Timer (Dispatch) is the maximumcontinuous transmission time to communicate using theDispatch ID.The transceiver pauses transmitting and emits theWarning Tone when the transceiver attempts to transmitafter the configured Time-out Timer (Dispatch) expires.The Warning Tone keeps sounding until the PTT switch isreleased.The maximum continuous transmission time using aDispatch ID can be configured by using KPG-101D.Note: The transceiver returns to receive mode after the EOT emits ifthe timer pauses the transmission in FleetSync, etc. The Time-out Timer (Dispatch) does not activate in EmergencyMode.
