60 Index Contents Confidential FUNC (K)/Ver. 1.0117 OSTOST (Operator Selectable Tone) can be used to changethe Decode and Encode pair of the QT/DQT signalingwithout changing the transmit frequency and receivefrequency.If multiple talk groups use the same frequency but adifferent QT/DQT is used, the dispatcher can specify thetalk group using this function.A maximum of 40 pairs of QT/DQT Decode andQT/DQT Encode can be configured in the OST Table. AQT/DQT Encode/ Decode pair and the OST Table can beswitched for each channel by pressing the OST key.A QT/DQT Decode/ Encode pair for OST can beconfigured for each channel by using KPG-101D.Note: OST is disabled if the zone or channel is changed. OST isenabled again if the transceiver returns to a channel while OSTStatus Memory is enabled. (Refer to 17.1 OST Status Memoryon page 60.)
