The SLTs are connected to the CO via a Power Failure Unit (PFU). With maximum traffic, the backup batteries last up to 30 minutes in theDBS 576.Power On MaintenanceDescriptionThe System allows you to change most circuit cards, programming, and many other maintenancefeatures while the System is powered on and operating. Very few operations require the System to bepowered down or out of service.
