Show Command 1-7Show Command The show command settings command displays the settings for CLI commands.show command settings It lists the following information: History depth - Number of CLI commands issued by the OfficeConnectGateway which display when pressing the up or down arrow keys Current prompt - Designation of prompt for a temporary CLI session Local prompt - Designation of prompt for a permanent CLI session Global terminal page break - Whether global terminal page breaks areenabled or disabled Global terminal settings rows - Number of rows displayed to allOfficeConnect Gateway-connected systems Local terminal page break - Whether local terminal page breaks are enabledor disabled Local terminal settings rows - Number of rows displayed tolocally-connected systemsUse the set command to modify these settings.Kill Command The KILL command kills an active process. Use list processes to see whichprocesses are currently active.KILL <process name> You can only kill a process that you started. An example would be a ping that youstarted that you now wish to kill.You must type upper case letters and type the full process name when issuing thekill command.Parameters Descriptionlocal_prompt Sets a separate (temporary) prompt for a command file session. The limit is 64ASCII characterslocal_terminal_settings_rowsConfigures the page size (number of rows) output by CLI commands to locallyconnected PC screens of administrative users. This command is effective onlyfor the session when the command is issued. The range is 1-256. The defaultis 23.login_required Sets whether a Telnet user is required to log in. This value can be changedonly by an Administrative user. The default is No.prompt Sets the global (permanent) command prompt for the CLI. Use showcommand to see the currently defined prompt.
