Adjustthe driver side temperature control tochange the linked temperature. Whenthe front or rear passenger settingsare adjusted, the Sync indicator willturn off.Manual OperationQ 9 R : Press or touch the fanbuttons on the center stack or climatecontrol display to increase or decreasethe fan speed. Press and hold thebuttons to adjust speed more quickly.The fan speed setting displays.Pressing either button cancelsautomatic fan control and the fan canbe controlled manually. Press AUTO toreturn to automatic operation.Driver and Passenger Air DeliveryMode Controls : When the climateinformation is displayed, touch thedesired air delivery mode on theclimate control display to change thedirection of the airflow. The selectedair delivery mode button is lit.Touching any of the air deliverybuttons cancels automatic air deliverycontrol and the direction of theairflow can be controlled manually.Press AUTO to return to automaticoperation.To change the current mode, selectone of the following:Y : Air is directed to the instrumentpanel outlets.\ : Air is divided between theinstrument panel outlets and the flooroutlets.[ : Air is directed primarily to thefloor outlets. Some air Is directed tothe windshield and outboard ventoutlets.c : Clears the windows of fog ormoisture. Air is directed to thewindshield, windshield defroster, sidewindow defrosters, outboard ventoutlets, and floor outlets.0 : Clears the windshield of fog orfrost more quickly. Air is directed tothe windshield. Press 0 to turn on oroff. Changing the air delivery modealso turns the defrost off.A/C : Touch A/C on the climatecontrol display to turn the airconditioning on or off. If the fan isturned off or the outside temperaturefalls below freezing, the airconditioner will not run.Press AUTO to return to automaticoperation and the air conditioner runsas needed.Automatic Air Recirculation : Whenthe AUTO indicator light is on, the airis automatically recirculated asneeded to help quickly cool the insideof the vehicle.The climate control system may havea sensor to detect air pollution. Whenusing automatic air recirculation, theair quality control system mayoperate. To adjust the sensitivity ofthe air quality sensor, see “Climateand Air Quality” under VehiclePersonalization 0 140.@ : Press to alternate betweenrecirculating air inside the vehicle orpulling in outside air.
