In a crash, they mightnot be able to provide adequateprotection. Clean and rinse seat beltwebbing only with mild soap andlukewarm water. Allow the webbingto dry.Floor Mats{ WarningIf a floor mat is the wrong size or isnot properly installed, it caninterfere with the pedals.Interference with the pedals cancause unintended acceleration and/or increased stopping distancewhich can cause a crash and injury.Make sure the floor mat does notinterfere with the pedals.Use the following guidelines forproper floor mat usage.. The original equipment floor matswere designed for your vehicle.If the floor mats need replacing, itis recommended that GM certifiedfloor mats be purchased. Non-GMfloor mats may not fit properlyand may interfere with the pedals.Always check that the floor matsdo not interfere with the pedals.. Do not use a floor mat if thevehicle is not equipped with afloor mat retainer on the driverside floor.. Use the floor mat with the correctside up. Do not turn it over.. Do not place anything on top ofthe driver side floor mat.. Use only a single floor mat on thedriver side.. Do not place one floor mat on topof another.The driver side floor mat is held inplace by two button-type retainers.Removing and Replacing theFloor Mats1. Pull up on the rear of the floormat to unlock the retainers andremove.2. Reinstall by lining up the floormat retainer openings over thecarpet retainers and snap intoposition.3. Make sure the floor mat isproperly secured in place. Verifythe floor mat does not interferewith the pedals.
