FCA also lights anamber visual alert if following anothervehicle much too closely.FCA detects vehicles within a distanceof approximately 60 m (197 ft) andoperates at speeds above 8 km/h(5 mph). If the vehicle has AdaptiveCruise Control (ACC), it can detectvehicles to distances of approximately110 m (360 ft) and operates at speedsabove 4 km/h (2.5 mph). See AdaptiveCruise Control 0 211.{ WarningFCA is a warning system and doesnot apply the brakes. Whenapproaching a slower-moving orstopped vehicle ahead too rapidly,(Continued)Warning (Continued)or when following a vehicle tooclosely, FCA may not provide awarning with enough time to helpavoid a crash.
