Therefore, this feature can be blocked until the motor comes upto speed and the field is applied. From that point forward, the kvar trip and alarm elementswill be active. Once the kvar level exceeds either the positive or negative level, for thespecified delay, a trip or alarm will occur indicating a positive or negative kvar condition. The reactive power alarm can be used to detect loss of excitation and out of step.REACTIVE [BLOCK kvar ELE-MENTRange: 0 to 5000 s in steps of 1MESSAGE REACTIVE POWERALARM: OffRange: Off, Latched, UnlatchedMESSAGE ASSIGN ALARMRELAYS:Range: Alarm, Alarm & Auxiliary2,Alarm & Aux2 & Aux3, Alarm &Auxiliary3, Auxiliary2, Aux2 &Aux3, Auxiliary3MESSAGE POSITIVE kvarALARMRange: 1 to 25000 kvar in steps of 1MESSAGE NEGATIVE kvarALARMRange: 1 to 25000 kvar in steps of 1MESSAGE REACTIVE POWERALARMRange: 0.2 to 30.0 s in steps of 0.1MESSAGE REACTIVE POWERALARMRange: On, OffMESSAGE REACTIVE POWERTRIP: OffRange: Off, Latched, UnlatchedMESSAGE ASSIGN TRIPRELAYS:Range: Trip, Trip & Auxiliary2, Trip &Aux2 & Aux3, Trip & Auxiliary3MESSAGE POSITIVE kvarTRIPRange: 1 to 25000 kvar in steps of 1MESSAGE NEGATIVE kvarTRIPRange: 1 to 25000 kvar in steps of 1MESSAGE REACTIVE POWERTRIPRange: 0.2 to 30.0 s in steps of 0.1
